Differences with previous version
Access to the Dual Display Options now differs from the method described in the User Manual: the options featured in the Output Device tab have been moved, and the Extended Desktop mode activation now occurs differently.
Output Device Tab
Use your mouse to right-click the Windows Desktop. A pop-up menu appears: now click on Properties. Click on the Display Properties window that appears on-screen (you may also access this Control Panel by successively clicking on Start/Settings, then on Control Panel. Then click on the Display icon).
Clicking on Advanced... then displays only the GeForce2 MX and TwinView tabs, the Output Device tab is no longer available (in Standard and Clone modes).
To access this tab's options, click on the TwinView tab, then click on Output Device>/Select Output Device.... You will then be able to access the same options as those available in the Output Device tab. Please refer to the online manual for more information regarding these options.
Extended Desktop Mode
The Extended Desktop Mode
is no longer accessible via the TwinView tab. To activate this mode,
use your mouse to right-click the Windows Desktop. A pop-up menu appears: click
on Properties. Click on the Settings tab located in the Display
Properties window which appears on-screen.
With your mouse, left-click the on-screen image of Screen 2. Click on Yes
in the dialog box that appears, then click on Apply. The display is then
extended to both output devices.
Note: you are no longer required to restart your computer to apply the changes
carried out.
To revert to previous display configuration, return to the Settings tab, and use your mouse to right-click the on-screen image of Screen 2 and click on Activated. Then click on Apply.
Once again, you are no longer required to restart your computer. However, you need to close the Display Properties window, and then open it again, in order to access the TwinView tab.
